Can you be content with what you have?

What is it that drives most people? More of everything, more money, things, recognition, newer stuff or the latest and greatest technology. We spend time chasing after more and more only to discover that more doesn’t necessarily equate to happy. There’s a fine balance between satisfaction with what we already have, what we hope to acquire and a peaceful soul.
The trick is to know when enough is enough. Our need to ‘have’ can lead us along the dark path of never acquiring enough to be happy.
No matter what faith you choose to follow, most of them teach the same principals. In his letters to the church The Apostle Peter told us that His Divine Power has given us everything we need for life and godliness. Why can't we all just be content where we are?
Peter expressed seven of the most powerful virtues that we as humans already posses but most never apply to life. They are:
1. Add to your faith virtue
2. To virtue add knowledge
3. To knowledge add temperance
4. To temperance add patience
5. To patience add Godliness
6. To Godliness add brotherly kindness
7. To brotherly kindness add charity
